Lego Star Wars Online

Posted on 15 November 2009 by admin

The Lego site has an online Quest for R2-D2 that’s pretty fun. It has several levels and allows you to save your game data. I found it a bit more challenging to control the character with the keyboard (it sure is easier to play Lego Star Wars on the Wii!) but with a bit of practice you’ll get the hang of it. Nice little game.

Play Quest For R2D2 online at the Lego site:http://starwars.lego.com/en-us/FunAndGames/CloneWars-Quest-For-R2D2.aspx

Note: You’ll need to install the Unity web player to play the game. There’s a link to download it at the bottom of the Lego Star Wars site.

Prince of Persia Trailer

Posted on 04 November 2009 by admin

Take a look at the new Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie trailer!

This movie looks awesome, but we still have a long wait: it’s not due out until May 2010 :-(

Apparently, another game will be released by Ubisoft to coincide with the movie, “Prince of Persia: The Game of the Movie of the Game

In the meantime, you can check out the original game:
1) http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/10 – the DOS version
2) http://jayisgames.com/archives/2004/06/prince_of_persi.php – an online Flash version
3) http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/prince-of-persia-4d/ – a faithful remake but with added challenges:

“The tortuous difficulty level of this fanmade version makes it a perfect game for those who finished the original game and are looking for a real challenge to save the princess.”

Follow the link to see screenshots and a video of the game.
