Posted on 11 July 2007 by Christine Lank

Well, this blog has been running for one year! I thought it might be good to put together a top 10 list of the best games I’ve reviewed, or at least my personal favorites. Feel free to give your own opinions! Here they are, in no particular order:

    Nice list!

Found your site via “related links” on mine. :-)

I see a few of your top 10 originate from the Retro Remakes community in the UK.

If you’re interested, I’ve compiled a big page of links/screenshots of their current work.
eg Minion (who made Galaxian on your list) has now done an incredible remake of the arcade “Empire Strikes Back”)

    Here’s the page:

Thanks for the heads up Gabe! The screenshot of the Empire Strikes Back from Minionsoft looks tempting… :-) . Unfortunately, the Minionsoft site seems inaccessible right now…:-(

I’m sorry Christine – I bet that Minionsoft was also on the same server as RR.
    (hadn’t thought of that) Drats!

I’ve just requested *another* link from the author.
When I get one – I’ll pass it onto you. :)

Christine, as promised I’ve got you a link for Empire Strikes Back, and all the other “category 1″ entrants in the RR competition. :)

Hope you enjoy the game – I think it’s an amazing effort for only 3 months work.

    Doc,

Mersey Remakes (where AC was hosted) went down in a recent hack.

In the meantime, you can download Smila’s remake from here:
